To engage as an interpreter or translator with us, you must fully comprehend and agree to the following terms. Please be assured that your personal information and related documents will be used solely for their intended purpose.

Qualifications for Freelance Interpreters and Translators

Translation Service Contract

Younique Dandelion Co., Ltd., represented by Mr. Yoon Byung-jun (hereinafter referred to as "Party A"), and the undersigned freelancer (hereinafter referred to as "Party B") hereby enter into this Translation Service Contract (hereinafter referred to as the "Contract") under the following terms:

1. Party B shall adhere to the following terms while performing the translation services:
a. Party B shall complete the translation and provide it in the format requested by Party A by the deadline, either directly or via mail or email.
b. Party B must respond to Party A’s legitimate requests for revisions after completing the translation by the specified deadline.
c. Party B shall not disseminate the translation using methods such as copying.
d. Party B is required to diligently respond to any interim review requests made by Party A.

2. Party A will assign the translation work to Party B, and upon completion of the task, compensation will be provided according to the following criteria:
a. Party A will provide translation work to Party B and compensate Party B based on the agreed translation fee, calculated according to the translation output (translated material). The payment will be based on the complexity, expertise required, and urgency of the translation, typically calculated at 300 words per page.
b. Party A will make payment to Party B’s specified bank account by the agreed date, provided there are no significant issues with the translation. (However, this period may be adjusted in exceptional cases with separate agreement from Party B.)
c. Payment for completed translations will be made on the Tuesday two weeks after the request date, except in special cases.

3. Party B shall not discontinue the translation work without justifiable reasons or due to force majeure.

4. Party A cannot request Party B to cease the translation work without justifiable reasons or force majeure. However, this does not apply if the client cancels the translation request mid-project.

5. Party B must perform the translation work with the utmost diligence and in good faith. If Party A provides a reasonable explanation and identifies defects in the translation that exceed 10% of the total content, Party A may withhold payment to Party B.

6. The copyright for any documents produced under this Contract shall belong to Party A, and Party B may not distribute or disseminate them independently. Furthermore, all copyrights and intellectual property rights related to the completed translation shall be exclusively owned by Party A, and Party B shall have no rights to exercise any such copyrights or intellectual property rights.

7. Party B shall not use any mechanical translation tools (such as Google Translate, Papago, etc.). If the use of such tools is proven, Party B will not receive payment for the translation and must compensate Party A with an amount equivalent to ten times the project’s translation fee. Party B agrees to fully assume responsibility for meeting all customer requirements and conditions. Furthermore, Party A reserves the right to claim damages, both civil and criminal, from Party B for any issues arising from the customer.

8. Any matters not specified in this contract shall be governed by general commercial practices. In the event of a dispute related to this contract, the dispute resolution body shall be the Korea Commercial Arbitration Board.

9. dditional Terms
a. This contract constitutes mutual agreements between Party A and Party B and shall be executed with diligence and good faith.
b. Party A and Party B shall not be held liable for any damages or failure to perform obligations arising from force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, national emergencies, riots, or wars.
c. Matters not specified in this contract shall be governed by general commercial practices. In the event of a dispute related to this contract, the competent court shall be the court having jurisdiction over Party A's location.
